A mosque situated close to orthodox and catholic churches, just nearby is a synagogue. Maur architecture mixed with buildings designed in „Vienna“ style. People of various religions and nationalities, houses with holes from gun shots, big cemeteries from the civil war and kitsch places for tourists. Great burek with cheese, strong Bosnian coffee and local beer Sarajevo. Even late in the night the city is pulsing so you easily forget the rainy and foggy weather which prevents great views of the downtown from narrow streets on the hillsides.
This city has a great potential and we are really glad to have experienced it before mass tourism steals some of its unique charm!
