Last year, close to Jahorina Mountains – in Bjelašica mountains – one Slovenian paraglider landed unplanned and was so unlucky that the stepped on a land mine which took both of his legs. However, in Jahorina Mountains, you can find luxury hotels and modern six person chair lifts like in an Austrian ski-resort.
Unfortunately, the foggy weather continues so our skiing and freeriding in local woods was often more of “blind” riding. The snow was wet and heavy that´s why we had a number of interesting falls. The fun continued in one pub on the slope – the DJ was mixing Balkan turbo-folk and other hits.. a descent “apre-ski” dancing session in ski-boots I would say.
