One World, Two Skis is a unique, seven-months-long car journey from the Balkans to the Himalayas, taking in extreme ski-mountaineering and first ski-descents in little-explored areas of Albania (the Prokletje mountains), eastern Turkey (the Kackar range), Iran (the Alam Kooh mountains), Kyrgyzstan (the Tian-San chain) and Afghanistan (the Hindu Kush). It is an expedition along the Silk Road to China and onwards to Nepal and the Himalayas, where we aim to attempt a ski-descent from the summit of Manaslu (8,163 metres).

No lifts, no high altitude porters, no helicopters – our goal is to climb and ski steep faces and to search for new areas for extreme ski-mountaineering.
