The Balkan surprises

We have stopped in a café close to Split to check the internet. Unfortunately, the weather forecast changed significantly. After a long period of nice and stable weather a change of weather is coming. Low pressure and lot of perception is coming to the Adriatic coast. In the Prokletje Mountains, which are situated on the boarder of Monte Negro and Albania, and where we wanted to go after a warm up in some of the ski-resorts in Bosnia, some 140 cm of fresh snow should fall in the next four days…

Although we have avalanche airbag backpacks Pieps Jetfore we don’t want to try them in practice immediately.

In the inland mountains of Bosnia and Hercegovina the forecast looks a bit better so we might stay here a bit longer.
